| 香港人的驕傲——絕食者給予特首梁振英的公開信
梁振英先生：
當佔領者餐風飲露，我們正在停止進食的期間。相信你依然無動於衷，繼續享用權力帶給你的一切好處。然而我們相信為義受苦的我們，依然比大魚大肉的你過得更好。你依靠專權的、剝削的政治制度，與及暴力的警政系統來保衛你利益的城池。溫暖我們的心僅是對自由世界的無限祈盼、與戰友的共同理想。在這個時刻我們發信給你，要求政府立即重返對話平台，就重啟政改進行公開對話。梁先生切莫迷信武力清場，更不要以為拖延策略可以奏效。人民已聞絕食號角之聲，萬人廣場必定歸來，而特區政府亦承受不起失去任何一個青年人的嚴重代價。
多年以來，不民主的特區政府已嚴重損害香港的自由，甚至威脅弱勢的生存。如今，瘋狂的暴力鎮壓更是一步步地將社會推向萬劫不復的邊緣。作為城市的首長，理應積極回應大眾訴求，並主動尋求解決政治問題。梁先生則反正道而行，迴避市民積累已久的民怨，對佔領的正當訴求採鄙夷冷待的姿態。更指任何抗爭都將是徒勞無功，簡直是恃勢凌民，不可一世。如今我們拋下一切，絕食求對話，請你負起責任，改正過往不得人心的姿態，以對話回應學生市民真誠而卑微的訴求。
在寒風中留守已不是易事，低溫絕食更是挑戰，但我們相信，絕食的真切將劃破大眾對佔領的一切質疑與不信任。社會將看到誰是真正殘忍的施暴者；誰是不屈的追夢者。我們重申，重啟政改是特區政府的權責範圍，身為特首的你，絕無卸責之理。請特首先生盡早答應就著「立即重啟政改」進行公開對話，亦無需再勸我們停止絕食之苦，請先解除香港人不自由及受壓迫的苦難。

Dear Mr CY Leung,
It is believed that when protesters are exposed to the harsh environment or even start hunger strike, you are still living in your utopia under the shelter of power by turning a cold shoulder to the reality. However, being those sacrificed for the sake of justice, we have a better life than you, even without materialistic prosperity. Protecting your own interests, you have no choice but rely on autocratic and exploitative political system , with violent police bureaucracy. What keeps our heart warm is our endless hope to the world, and our common goals with friends. We are writing to you here to request the government turn back and start public conversation on reestablishment of political reform. Please do not imagine that violence or delaying tactics can stop us. The people are alert with hunger strike, and they will come back to join us eventually. Most importantly, cost of losing any youngster is undeniably too high for the SAR government.
The undemocratic government has been a curse to Hong Kong's liberty, or even livelihood of the underprivileged. The ridiculous and ludicrous repression with use of force is playing with fire, regardless our society's future. It is the duty for a leader of a city to cater the public needs and find the way out for political crisis. What Mr Leung doing is just completely the opposite: trying to escape from people's resentment, being indifferent towards the Occupation's reasonable demands, criticising any struggle as useless and meaningless. This arrogant attitude is certainly bullying people with power. Now we are willing to sacrifice for conversation by hunger strike. Please shoulder your responsibility and be sincere to students and all Hong Kong people by starting conversation again.
It is not easy for us to keep up in fierce wind, practicing hunger strike in such freezing weather. But what we believe is that, our hunger strike will tell people the truth. The society will see who are the cruel and inhuman perpetrators or, and who are the adorable dream-seekers. We have to emphasis that reestablishment of political reform is the task of government. As the Chief Executive, you are not allowed to shrink your responsibility. Please agree to talk to us again. Before asking us to stop from the painful hunger strike, please ease the pain for all Hong Kong people from illiberal and repressive lives.
