八個容易混淆的英文文法

目前一般人最迫切希望改善的英文問題，除了不敢開口說英文再來就是使用英文寫作了吧！

其中一定會使用到的英文文法可以說是表達正確意思最重要的骨架，假如使用的單字相同但是後面接續的動詞型態改變，代表的意思又會有所不同。

所以不僅是英文口說，英文寫作兩者都會需要準確表達意思，接著以下整理出不定詞跟動名詞的英文文法給大家：

一、不定詞：表示未來目標→動詞後接to V

1. like/love/hate+to V：表達認為是實用、正確、或是明智的行為

EX：

I like to be punctual. (It is important to be punctual and I am.)

I hate to lie, but sometimes I do. (It is not right to lie, but sometimes I do.)

2. prefer+to V：做出所想要的選擇

EX：

If you prefer to walk, it will take you 30 minutes to school.
(If you want to walk, it will take you 30 minutes to school.)

3. mean+to V= intend +to V

EX：

I didnt mean to hurt your feelings. (I didnt intend to hurt your feelings.)

4. go on+to V：接續下一個動作

EX：

Whichever page you are on, go on to read the next chapter.
(Continue with the next chapter)

5. remember+to V：記得要去做某事

EX：

Please remember to write a letter. (記得去寫封信)

6. forget+to V：忘了去做某事

EX：

He forgot to close the window. (他忘記關窗戶)

7. stop+to V：停下某動作以做另一動作

EX：

He stops to smoke. (他停下來去吸菸)

8. try+to V：嘗試達成目標

EX：

I tried to please her dad but in vain. (我試著討好她爸爸，但失敗了)

二、動名詞：具有名詞特有的存在性及持久性，表達一種持續的狀態、事實、習慣
→動詞後接Ving

1. like/love/hate+Ving：喜歡/喜愛/討厭做此事

EX：

I like getting up early in summer. (I enjoy doing it.)

I hate dancing, so dont ask me to. (I dont like dancing.)

2. prefer+Ving：做出所想要的選擇

EX：

I prefer walking to taking the bus. (I like walking better than taking the bus.)

3. mean+Ving：意思是......(表結果)

EX：

In those days, being a student meant spending long hours in the library.
(In those days if you were a student, it meant that you spent long hours in the library.)

4. go on+Ving：繼續做......

EX：

Go on reading the article. (Continue reading the article.)

5. remember+Ving：記得做過某事

EX：

I remember writing a letter. (我記得自己寫了封信)

6. forget+Ving：忘了曾經做過某事

EX：

He forgot closing the window. (他忘記自己有關窗戶)

7. stop+Ving：停下正在進行的動作

EX：

He stops smoking. (停止吸菸)

8. try+Ving：嘗試某種方法達成目標(Ving部分是所嘗試的方法)

EX：

Have you tried changing the batteries? (你試過更換電池了嗎?)

綜合上述區分成不定詞跟動名詞，主要是讓大家不要被混淆了！

相信大家都有印象學過這些英文文法，但是久而久之卻忘記怎麼使用，所以就依照詞性的不同來整理。

若是將相同單字接不同詞性來一起解釋，就如同國中學英文的方式等於是死背文法，反而比較建議是透過例句來練習，實際上把這些英文文法真正使用時也才會有印象。

如果常常會不確定自己使用是否正確的英文文法，可以把完成的句子藉由翻譯網站檢查看看是否為自己要表達的意思，或者是用word拼字及文法功能查看有無錯誤。

平時複習英文文法概念時也可以自己造句，實際演練才不會很容易就忘記，不要看過就算了，現在就試著照樣造句吧！
