一半更年期婦女有潮紅;盜汗持續七年以上 Half of Menopausal Women Have Hot Flashes, Night Sweats for More Than 7 Years Frequent menopausal vasomotor symptoms (VMS), such as night sweats and hot flashes, can last for much longer than expected, a JAMA Internal Medicine study finds.U.S. researchers studied nearly 1500 women (aged 42–52 at baseline) who reported frequent VMS (6 days or more over a 2-week period) at least once during roughly 13 years' follow-up.The median total VMS duration was 7.4 years; the median duration after the last menstrual period was 4.5 years. Women whose frequent VMS began during premenopause or early perimenopause had the longest total VMS duration (median, >11.8 years). Black women had the most long-lasting symptoms (10 years). "Consistent with other cohort studies, these findings underscore that bothersome vasomotor symptoms represent a long-term concern for many perimenopausal and postmenopausal women. the longevity of these symptoms should factor into decision making regarding treatment." |
