若繳費,等退休,每月領的年金(US$120),放棄Really?
I joined年金 one month before my birthday of 65. So I was requested to繳納 1 monthly fee. To keep collecting US$120, you have to go back once within 2 years. Otherwise, it will be放棄.
Though I don't go to Taiwan often, I still pay the monthly fee (US$25). Don't expect too much on Medicare for which we still have to pay $144 each month after reaching age 65.
Besides basic Medicare ($144), one of my friends pays about $150 more to get extra supplements. Recently, he complained that he could not find any doctor to accept his Medicare. Why? Doc can not make any money from Medicare, including Supplements. He never had 健保 and he is considering now.
What Trump has done is good for America, especially in the long term. Capitalism is good to encourage people to work hard to become rich. Republicans support Capitalism and a small government. On the other hand, Democrats want a bigger government to provide everything for everyone including Cheaper Health Care, Free Colleges, and Lower Rental houses.
Like Canada and Germany, their taxes are very high: 14% sale tax in Canada, so are cars and gasoline. However, prescribed drugs in Canada are much cheaper than in the US.
After this presidential election, America will turn out to be Canada or Germany soon.
After arriving in America, we always support Democrat until our next generations have got very good jobs. Once you reach that level of salary, you must think about paying less in taxes.
We don't like Trump, but we have to support his economic policy. He is the man who knows how to make America great. The only thing most of the people believe he did wrong is the way he talked. Instead, he should follow Obama's way to please most Americans. Trump is not a traditional politician and he will be gone soon. It is sad to see that America will not be Great again.
