大衛‧迪歐畢業於耶路撒冷音樂學院，自 1992 推出第一張專輯之後，就成為以色列
家喻戶曉的音樂家。

他的音樂巧妙的融合了古典樂、世界樂和民族音樂。藉由歌詞與旋律的結合，透過音樂
傳達和平與愛。是當代及具特性的聲樂家。他的聲音柔潤中掺透著遼遠的氣息。

曾在馬丁路德紀念日，泰皇登基六十週年慶，受邀登台演唱，也曾為教皇獻唱。
是個非常受歡迎又讓人尊敬的國際級聲樂家。

由於受證嚴上人感召，也由於理念和上人相近，所以接近慈濟，而且希望成為慈濟的一份子，2006年來台
赴花蓮慈濟演唱，將所得捐給慈濟。又將師父的靜思語譜成六首曲子，錄製成CD--聽見愛的聲音。

然後在這個月九月十號，開始全美大城市演唱這張專輯，並將收入捐給慈濟。十月份會
來台在國家劇院演唱，這是一個聆聽愛的聲音的好機會。
