A burglar broke into a house one night. Just as he pulled the stereo out to disconnect the wires, he heard, “Jesus is watching you.” This freaked him out, and he looked around for the source of these words. Finally, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot in the corner of the room. “Did you say that?” he asked the parrot. “Yes. I’m just trying to warn you that he’s watching you.” the parrot squawked. The burglar relaxed and said, “Warn me? Who are you?” “Moses,” replied the bird. “Moses? What kind of people would name a bird Moses?” the burglar laughed. The parrot answered, “The kind that would name a Rottweiler Jesus.
