Who am I targeting this time?

(door to door sales)

Pizza company

(for example, GodFather's pizza)

Girl Scouts

( Luckly, they don't knock

our door, anymore.)

Comcast Cable

( Not  to give current,existing

 customers any promotions, 

or discounts, either.                  

And yet, they want to

get me sign up to use.)

今天我要說

住這國家的所有推銷員應該都是白痴！都是沒素養沒文化ㄉ人！

所有住美國ㄉ推銷員 都是illiterate都不懂自己國家ㄉ語言，

之前我們在我們自己ㄉ門旁裝電鈴

(搬來這時 發現沒有電鈴

問ㄌ住戶管理員   她說 [只能住戶自己安裝]

還頭一回聽聞電鈴還必須住戶自己安裝ㄉ

 結果裝不到三週半唷，

裝在外面ㄉ電鈴就慘遭不肖人士盜竊！

心灰意冷ㄉ我們 決定不裝備用電鈴)

之後就是經常性ㄉ非常莫名奇妙、

 又毫無水平ㄉ、有完沒完ㄉ撞門聲

(不管現在幾點鐘+不管今天禮拜幾) 

老是莫名奇妙ㄉ被大力ㄉ碰碰碰碰ㄉ

撞門敲門聲 給打攪

從頭到尾 我門旁邊ㄉ牆壁上

或是我們ㄉ門上面都會貼一張

No Solicitors

That's all well and good except the

"No Solicitors" sign, I feel, is in effect.

Now All solicitors sjould learn

They are all unwelcome

at Our Home! Solicitors are banned

to SELL me anything!

but I have always taken“no soliciting”

to mean do not try to sell

or convince me of anything.

Do not solicit your candidate to me.

Do not  solicit your cause to me.

Do not solicit your religion to me.

Do not solicit your service to me.

Do not solicit your product to me.

(it speaks, make it go away, it speaks!)

In other words, no soliciting. Periodly!!

I don't think we should have to

explain to anyone

why No solicitors   :

We do not like being solicited to.

That's why we have the sign.

Actually, I got the sign up shortly after

the Stranger(Oregonian's speaker,

Comcast speaker, Religion speaker)

all came banging on our

main door like they own it,

like we are traspassing their property.

My husband thought it would just be safer

 to let people know we didn't want them

here at all times. I quite agreed.

Still, 我們不想被推銷 

也討厭來推銷ㄉ油嘴滑舌.

We just don't like strangers coming

to our door hoping to

sell to us something(anything)

or sway our thinking,

no matter how useful their product

or valid their opinion.

我要說

至今我沒有擺臉色給推銷員看過

從未有過一次對他們生氣

從沒有問她/他 你是不會read 嗎

不會read sign 是嗎

那你還來幹麻

印象中有兩三次吧

推銷送報ㄉ 敲門或按鈴

問你要不要訂報

然後給你ticket to the game

 or give you some thing in return

訂報? 她/他們在幻想?

她/他們 連自己國家ㄉ字都文盲到看不懂

不削認同

問我們向她/他 們訂報

好讓她/他送報賺我們??

她/他 能把報紙塞哪裡 不會被偷走?

我通常都是在房間 或是在客廳吧

就吼一句

We don't need it!!!!!

之前我們剛開始住外面時

感覺就很幸福很開心

住大廈裡面

郵箱也是在大廈裡面

不像有些公寓 郵箱 在你門上

那時候 除ㄌ鄰居偶爾來問有無okay 棒

沒有任何不相干ㄉ 機車ㄉ推銷ㄉ來打擾

日子過ㄉ安逸又安詳ㄉ很

不管是白紙黑字ㄉ

No Solicitors

或是白字紅底ㄉ貼紙字樣ㄉ

No Solicitors就是老是有不知

哪冒出來ㄉ沒水平ㄉ文盲

不管啥時 都來敲門(撞門才正確ㄉ講法)

想來推銷我們不買ㄉ東西,

想推銷我們信他們ㄉ信仰,

我覺得莫名奇妙 !

推銷ㄉ是白癡對吧 還是全是文盲飯桶

是怎樣 幹麻敲我們ㄉ門

I guess the whole point of this post is;

am I wrong in my thought that a

No Solicitors sign should keep

 all the solicitors away?

 Does it really only apply to

 people who are asking for funds

 in exchange for something?

I had an encounter with the JWs

while I was in grad school,

that went something like this:

Steve gets tired of all the peddlers

who come to his door,

so he puts a "No Solicitors" above his doorbell.

Some time later, the doorbell rings.

Repeatedly. I get out of bed (it's early),

go up the stairs, and find a woman with a child.

 They want to talk to me about the Lord,

so I say "Why don't you pick out something

that you think to be particularly inspiring

from your Bible, and read it?"

Well, she thinks she's got a convert on her hands,

so she reads some passage.

After she's done, I say "OK, very good.

So why is it that you can read that,

but you can't read the GODDAMNED

FUCKING SIGN I'VE GOT

ON THE FUCKING DOOR?"

You never saw people scamper away so fast,

and the visits ceased.

Never asked them whether

or not they could read signs.

Never once ask them if they are retarded to

 read the No solicitors sign。

Only think: why are you here traspassing

and bothering us if you can't read

the No solicitors sign.
