I'd like to illustrate the most favorite festival is the Chinese New Year . Why I like it most ? the first reason is "read envelops" , the extract pocket money from my parents . I born from a poor family . My parents cannot give me pocket money . If I want to buy something, The read envelops was the only origin , so I always save them to the bank . The second reason I like is the delicious food. My parents cannot let us eat too much food I like , they always fed me something they can afford and consider they are good for me . But most of them I don't like , especially milk. But I can ask my mother to buy snacks I like , candies and cookies. My mother always prepared flourishing dishes , we can eat happily. The last but not least, I like the joyous atmosphere , specially the dancing dragon and dancing lion. Every time I see this perform , I always feel very exciting until now. What festivals are internationally recognized? The Chinese new year almost become the famous international festival because the Chinese spread all part of all world. You can see the people celebrate it at same time in the Chinese town. Another one is Christmas , almost all children in everywhere expect the Santa Claus coming because it shows that they will be sent some presents . What role do you think festivals play in society? I think they are reasons to let people come together to do some special actives and eat delicious dished. As you know , it was not as rich as now , people maybe have few chances to eat meat, fish or other expensive food. On the other hand, we do some celebrations to cohere our hearts and memorize somebody to let use never forget our tradition and history. Do you think the role of the festivals is change? Yes, I think so. At the current time , we almost eat flourishing dished and wear pretty clothes , we needn’t wait the festivals coming . The concept of them are gradually weakened. For example, the people have to eat together at home on the Chinese New Year Eve , but now many people eat at restaurants or go oversea , I think it is inevitable. Are some festivals too commercial these days? Yes ,I think so . You can see the occasion of goods full the shops . Sometimes they let me feel boring. We can heard same songs and see same merchandises in most departments For example , I hate to eat the moon cake when Mid-Autumn festival , and heard the Santa Claus song when Christmas. Unfortunately , it is inevitable , because all shopkeepers and the product suppliers want to earn the special benefit. |
