| 今年是我第一次看美國偶像（American Idol) ，雖然對最終的投票結果有種荒繆的感覺，仍然很高興因為看這個節目而聽到很多好歌和好歌手。其中一位我很喜歡的參賽者Danny Gokey 在節目進入決賽之初唱這首「英雄(Hero)」，把自己唱成那一晚的英雄，也讓我第一次認真去找Mariah Carey(瑪麗亞凱莉)的歌。 為什麼她在十多年前當紅時我反而沒聽她？可能因為那時初為人母的我都是和女兒一起聽兒歌吧。在YouTube來回找她的現場演唱，發現她近幾年來唱這歌時再也不能宛轉如意，唱到高音處往往把Key降下來改變原調來唱，嗓子更明顯受傷了，真替她惋惜。可是她那巔峰時期的表演哪，尤其是“Vision of Love"裡的峰迴路轉 ，餘音豈只繞樑三日？ 瑪莉亞這首「英雄」寫得真是好! 我的電腦停格在YouMaker的這一頁，就讓她千百遍地重覆唱著，每次聽每次感動，不只回想起自己曾經最消沈的日子，更想起一位一直在憂鬱症裡沈浮的女友，希望她也能早日找到那沈睡在自己身體裡的英雄。 http://www.youmaker.com/ There's a hero If you look inside your heart You don't have to be afraid of what you are There's an answer If you reach into your soul And the sorrow that you know will melt away And then a hero comes along With the strength to carry on And you cast your fears aside And you know you can survive So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you It's a long road When you face the world alone No one reaches out a hand for you to hold You can find love If you search within yourself And the emptiness you felt Will disappear And then a hero comes along With the strength to carry on And you cast your fears aside And you know you can survive So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you Lord knows Dreams are hard to follow But don't let anyone Tear them away Hold on There will be tomorrow In time you'll find the way And then a hero comes along With the strength to carry on And you cast your fears aside And you know you can survive So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you  |
