在鄉間的一處竹籬
一隻母雞咯咯咯咯地叫著
小雞成群地圍聚上去
吱吱吱吱地叫著

母雞不住地運動雙腳
拚命用爪在地上挖著
挖出蚯蚓和其他小蟲
讓小雞飽食……

Chirping

With all her might
The hen is digging the earth
To look for earthworms and other inserts
