Sometimes reciting in a low voice
Sometimes singing
Sometimes running and jumping
Sometimes dancing

It keeps silent
All along
Pondering quietly
Giving no thought to personal gain or losses
The sea is a sage

It keeps reciting
In a low voice
Its voice spreads far away
Lingering in the air
The sea is a poet

It keeps singing
Its singing voice
Sounds loud and clear
Pleasant and moving
The sea is a singer

It keeps running and jumping
Striding proudly and ahead
Full of power and grandeur
High-spirited and vigorous
The sea is a hero

It keeps dancing
With a graceful carriage
Its dancing step is gentle and soft
Following closely with the beats
The sea is a dancer

The sea sometimes is a sage
Sometimes a poet
Sometimes a singer
Sometimes a hero
Sometimes a dancer
