Tug-of-War Inch by inch, herein we start losing, this "Tug-of-War."
Winning once we were, or so it seemed, over those foreboding beasts. Little by little, those unnamed crinkle, and their prowlers mingle. Worry not now my chum, tapping wind is it, agrees "Aye" the chime. Off guard we'll be caught. By the morning break, zero in on they shalt. Dust we'll bite, and they' ll smirk then spite. Thus the end of this insidious --- "Tug-of-War." |
