The date and time on your taskbar usually stops responding when the Windows system interface process freezes or the notification center is disabled.
--recently when it happened with AI examined any settings need to be modify. including Notification that found nothing wrong. until : restart Windows Explorer finally fixed.
How to Fix It
- Restart Windows Explorer:
- Press
Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your keyboard to open the Task Manager. - Find Windows Explorer in the list of processes.
- Right-click it and select Restart. Your taskbar will flash and reload.
--however today i havent open file explorer so cant find in task manager. so i open file explorer then follow the up to fix it.
the bad thing now my screen got square box popped up, and auto zoom in happened again.
so i close file explore hoping it back to normal. really suck file explorer and weird time/date no response. there is another frequently no response when click firefox tabs.
the task manager file explorer already gone, so i end process 1. Lenonovol Bridge 2. mobile device . it seemed solve the problem. but popped up the mouse arrow (no squre box, thanks God) stay in the screen. i just dont understand whats that good for me-type ? very sick off it, why cant allow senior user who just want very plain no fancy and complex mouse arrow, square box. even time/date, tabs suddenly no resonse.
My goodness, even open windows settings , it showed Gear window then stopped tried the 3rd time finally became normal. so visit websites login must tried 3 times, now windows settings. does it become worse and worse ? just verified windows update which showed pospone till 9/19/2028 . in updated history found KB2267602 version 1.459.273.0 successfully installed 9/18/2026 and the same one also updated on 9/18/2026 veriosn 1.459.263.0 and 9/17/2026 .... seemed every day is updated to newer version. no wonder worse and worse, the category is

9/18/2026 7:38pm the square box popup again in task manager Lenovol bridge also auto resume. tried to disable again but the re-open task manager Lenovol bridge auto disappeared, so is square box. and mobile device didnt auto resume so it is not mobile devices but Lenovol bridge related. i am thinking maybe switch to another O.S. (unix related) or uninstall Lenovol bridge. because the mouse arrow also disappeared that is what i wanted to keep screen as old time, no square box nor mouse arrow stay in the screen.
correct: square box popped up and then became very aggressive, verified settings Apps found a new [Quick Assist] by MS installed today. the Google AI suggested un-installed and i did then it became crazy kept popping up in MS Edge millions tabs.

Follow these steps in order to completely eliminate the issue:
1. Fully purge Quick Assist via PowerShell (deep uninstall)
Regular uninstall often leaves system-level app packages behind. Run this to wipe all traces for every user:
Press Win + X, select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
Paste this command and hit enter:

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers *QuickAssist* | Remove-AppxPackage
Then run this command to remove the systems optional Quick Assist feature:

This will erase all leftover app files that the standard uninstall missed .
--both PS cmds are failed. but no way to continue our conversation. finally the nightmare auto gone, i dont remember what i did to terminate the evil app (or uninstalled it finally works).
that means not Lenovol bridge caused the dizaster but MS embeded quick assist.
9/19/2026 before spouse went to bed i did compare our pc windows updated history, except he did allow preview type updated and i was told disabled any preview that can reduce to be tortured as Lab white mice. and his KB2267602 version is KB5129195 (26200.9457), mine is KB2267602 version 1.459.273.0 due to touch screen didnt work happened to spouse pc so i postpone update till 9/19/2026.

according to AI the problem never be solved after version 152.0 (no AI) and if no other ways can stop it then the last way is to downgrade to 152.0 the most stable version without those with AI updated caused bugs.
