National Public Data breach 8/20-8/21/2024 exposed my SS# in dark web, once in dark web no way to reduce by lifelok-type but monitor well by myself. usa MS, companies, domain sellers ...all did wrong things.

National Public Data confirmed the breach and exposure of sensitive information, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers, and mailing addresses on the dark web. National Public Data’s sister site published its own passwords after an archive was left openly accessible exposing internal login credentials, including the owners login credentials, granting access to the already leaked information. With a LifeLock membership, we’ve got your back with the tools you need to address this and future data breaches.

--very strange, never created account nor visite the website except today 9/16/2024 visited the website to know what kind of company. so the company collected my SSR# (must have others, we were informed on 4/30/2024 about 12/16/2022 7 times used my email address on dark web, 9/16/2024 turned out 7 different my passwords, and other another 2 different my passwords on 3/28/2024, 4/7/2024.

What happened?
The National Public Data breach was a major security incident where unauthorized individuals gained access to a vast database, containing personal information.
According to a post from a cybersecurity expert on X, formerly Twitter, a hacker group that calls themselves USDoD claims to be selling the 2.9 billion records for citizens of the U.S., U.K., and Canada on the dark web for $3.5 million. National Public Data suspects the breach contains critical personal information, including social security numbers. ps that happened to me on 8/20/2024 06:12:03 and 8/21/2024 06:12:02 (3 times)
ps 9/17/2024 the hacker sold usa each ss# to one baster in usa who needs "legal" ss# to long stay in usa could be illegal immigrations and usa serious criminals who need change their ID which can either run away usa or doing some very bad things.

National Public Datas response
National Public Data has collaborated with law enforcement and governmental investigators to review the potentially affected records. They will provide updates if any significant developments arise that are applicable. National Public Data claims they have strengthened their security measures to help prevent similar breaches in the future and to better protect their systems.
--the problem is the company didnt mail/email data breach notice to me, because i am not their users but collected my information from other companies? Except cook county health related event we never receive any notice including the bank data breached in 2022. how many victims as me-type, am I counted in 2.9 billion records?
ps 9/17/2024 there is another data breach sued case and it informed not talking about it. so i didnt sign in. 1st each big case only can get $3-$40 compensation and have to spend lots time to prove how much money stolen because the data breach, how much time you spent with time tag records to prove.
i want help those me-type who never receive any company data breach alerts. even didnt know which bastard company collected their informations without authorization such as "National Public Datas"-type did. why should i keep my mouth shout? what can i get for that? the company didnt promise to remove victims records from their system at all so can continue their business without ending. certainly i can request the company drop off my records in their system but will they really delete or like other phone related companies data breach who didnt really remove/delete but modified my name such only show my last name not full name.

How to protect yourself after the National Public Data breach
This data breach is an unfriendly reminder that your personal information is out of your control. It’s crucial to take steps to safeguard your personal information. Here are some practical tips:
Monitor your accounts: Regularly check bank statements and credit reports for any unauthorized activity. ps 9/17/2024 this is the only way victim must do so can in short time to get refund from bank like i found

--its not help because MS and companies updating auto deleted users data folders and data files, i did request to mail statements but most didnt receive. i did record in money software but MS or bank still can auto change/delete the datas.

Use strong, unique passwords: Avoid using the same password across multiple sites and opt for complex combinations of letters, numbers, and symbols.

--not much help especially the hacker use AI auto tried passwords. this is why Banks remind every 3 months change passwords. but the hacker/MS can steal HD data files. many times change to strong password i bet no one can remember but write down. no place is safe such as iphone, notebook.

Enable two-factor authentication: This adds an extra layer of security to your accounts, making it harder for attackers to gain access.

--recently the Crome redirect to Godday, the bank pension website mixed with Godday scare me to the death (whole day didnt feel well) and very confused by two-factor authentication popped up to create the 2nd userID/password...

Be wary of phishing scams: Don’t click on suspicious links or provide personal information in response to unexpected emails.

--i dont click any links in fraud emails but sometimes need to verify the fraud domain.xx that only usa domain sellers can help whom they sold to. Again, i cant see usa government try hard to catch those bastards. so it would be worse and worst.

Keep software up to date: Ensure that your operating system and applications are updated regularly to protect against known vulnerabilities.

--it depends what MS want from us, why so irresponsible and cant build solid basic apps such as file explorer, plain notepad, allow itself and companies auto delete users data files.... did MS try to kill win10, win11 users?

Sign up for identity protection: LifeLock is a leader in identity theft protection and offers comprehensive services to help you take proactive steps after a data breach.

--from what i saw can LifeLock help user prevent National Public Data-type in the future? will government work with LifeLock-type, Goddady-type... to catch the criminals in stead black Russia and China ?

ps 9/17/2024 searched "8445880273" and got :
02/27/2024 a user posted the same problem i got that 7/19,7/23... showing " xxxx is your verification code. dont share with anyone. and the user prety sure didnt request a verification code for anything." recently i got a pretended police called it is the same sound and frequently called for donation in the past so i immediately hanged off. as i said if legal company called client they should showing company name in stead victims on line searched for answear. however i wonder whether those companies such as "https://findwhocallsyou.com/8445880273" would collect whoever visit their websites to read other victims. and/or post your bad experiences. then later the company data breach happens and exposed in dark web. i did in cell phone block the fraud phone however sooner or later the space full and cant but delete long "recents" and/or avoid my finger uncarefully touch the fraud phones. then they call again. sometimes i deeply suspect whether related to my big mouth posted in 2 blogs then got punishments.
