最常用的是 pixelate（像素化）或 blur（模糊化）。
注意英文不說 mosaic，該詞在英文中是指拼貼藝術，不能用來指影像打碼。
常見說法與用法 Pixelate / Pixelated：指把畫面變成一格一格的像素狀，是最精確的「打馬賽克」說法。
例句：His face was pixelated to protect his identity.（他的臉被打上馬賽克以保護身分。）
Blur / Blurred / Blur out：指將畫面做模糊處理。 例句：Please blur out the license plate in the video.（請把影片中的車牌打馬賽克模糊處理。）
Censor / Censored：指因審查或保護需要而遮蔽、過濾內容（包含打碼或消音）。 例句：The photo was censored before publication.（這張照片在發布前經過了遮蔽處理。）
