A buzz, a tinkle and a bell...All three words can be used instead of the word 'call' in this sentence...＂I'll give you a call later tonight.＂

I'll give you a buzz later tonight.

I'll give you a tinkle later tonight.

I'll give you a bell later tonight.

A buzz（蜜蜂嗡嗡聲）, a tinkle（金屬叮噹聲） and a bell（鐘聲鈴鈴）三個都屬於狀聲詞，各指一種聲音，在英國的俚語中可以拿來當電話用，在句子中拿來替代裡面的call，同樣在表示make phone calls的意思。

'dog and bone' rhymes with 'phone'. It does, in some parts of the UK you'll hear it used in the same way as the phrase: 'on the phone'... So, you'll hear: 'on the dog'. Another word for 'phone', used in the same way as 'dog', is 'blower'...

A: Tell him to come and find me when he finishes, ok?
