簡介

野獸男孩（Beastie Boys）是一組來自紐約布魯克林和曼哈頓的嘻哈音樂團體，團員是佛教徒，野獸男孩是活躍時間最長的嘻哈團體之一，他們是受到搖滾和龐克的影響，同時也影響了許多嘻哈和其他領域的歌手。他們的現場演出通常包含饒舌、放克、爵士和搖滾。英國深具權威音樂雜誌NME就直接了當讚譽Beastie Boys為「全世界最酷樂團」、「音樂上之畢卡索」「白人饒舌樂天王老子級大樂團」，連喜歡嗆聲放炮的痞子阿姆都要靠邊站，那些90年中期以降快速崛起的混種搖滾風潮Nu-Metal，都要拜他們為宗師。自1981年於紐約成軍的Beastie Boys，進入全美屬一屬二孕育黑人音樂大廠Def Jam旗下推出《Licensed To III》專輯，不僅締造五百萬張銷售佳績，一連獨占五週排行冠軍，先攻單曲＜(You Gotta)Fight For Your Right＞，成為年輕族群國歌級的代言傑作，直至90年代迎接新世紀來臨，絲毫不受樂壇快速風格轉變與後起新秀之威脅而消逝，1998年還接連奪下兩座葛萊美獎之榮耀！，所出專集在2004年為全美現代搖滾榜+加拿大單曲榜雙料冠軍排行金曲(轉貼)
