歌名取自美國文豪海明威（Ernest Hemingway）１９７０年出版的一部小說書名

但她沒唱

後來羅吉斯決定收錄此曲　比吉斯兄弟便為其修改

原本〔Islands in The Stream〕是獨唱曲　但肯尼並不滿意

便邀來波霸天后桃莉芭頓（Dolly Parton）共同合唱

結果效果出乎意料的好
在這首節奏輕鬆的Country-Pop情歌中
兩位鄉村巨星愉悅地道出只想要與對方長相廝守的心意
