〔Ruby Tuesday〕是首巴洛克流行抒情曲　旋律優美　但歌詞傷感

主要由吉他手凱斯．李查斯（Keith Richards）創作

內容描寫他當時的女友Linda Keith

後者當時與另一音樂人Jimmy Hendrix來往　並嘗試藥物

之後離開凱斯　李查斯為挽回她　告知她父母上述事情

這導致兩人分手　多年未曾說話　不過Linda Keith重新振作　也擁有自己的家庭

〔Ruby Tuesday〕成為滾石第四首美國單曲榜冠軍

國際地區成績是跟〔Let’s Spent The Night Together〕以雙主打形式取得：

德國冠軍　荷蘭亞軍　法國／澳洲＃３

此曲名列滾石雜誌５００首史上最偉大歌曲之一
