１９５９年１０月生於馬里聯邦達卡的尤蘇．恩多爾（Youssou NDour）是塞內加爾創作歌手／藝人．

２００４年被《滾石》雜誌認為可能是塞內加爾和非洲大部分地區最有名且在世的歌手

１２歲開始表演，並加入數個團體

１９８０年代展開個人事業．

１９９４年５月，３４歲半的尤蘇推出大碟［The Guide (Wommat)／ 指南(沃馬特)］（Columbia唱片出版）

由Verna Gillis製作，以英語歌曲為主, 樂評良好．

首支主打為［7 Seconds／七秒］

邀來瑞典／獅子山的歐非混血歌手妮娜雪芮（Neneh Cherry）合唱

尤蘇恩多爾，妮娜雪芮，Cameron McVey，Jonathan Sharp譜寫，歌曲標題和副歌代表孩子生命的最初時刻．

Christian Falk，Booga Bear，Jonny Dollar製作成一首Trip–Hop／downtempo／氛圍音樂．

在緩拍的節奏間，尤蘇以他帶有非洲／法語腔的嗓音與雪芮流暢的英語交替演繹．受到好評．

這首歌有三種語言：恩多爾以三種語言演唱：法語、英語和西非沃洛夫語。

雪芮只用英語唱歌。

英語副歌實際上是由另一位歌手錄製的，因為尤索在歌曲製作過程中生病了。
