１９９３年夏天　３１歲的性感歌姬泰勒．戴恩（Taylor Dayne）回歸歌壇　推出第三張專輯〔Soul Dancing／靈魂之舞〕

雖然前兩張大碟皆賣出雙白金　並推出七首Top１０　一首Top２０熱門曲

但這回出擊卻不理想　只登上專輯榜＃５１　最後拿到金唱片

首支單曲──翻唱黑人歌手Barry White的靈魂冠軍經典〔Can’t Get Enough of Your Love〕登上單曲榜＃２０

雖然不差　卻是泰勒出道以來名次最低的單曲

１９９３年９月　唱片公司發行第二主打〔Send Me A Lover／送我一個愛人〕

這首抒情曲由智利裔的拉丁音樂人Humberto Gatica製作  旋律優美

在輕柔的鋼琴聲中　戴恩以如泣如速的哀婉唱腔詮釋這首感人的曲子

其實首先灌錄〔Send Me A Lover〕的是加拿大歌姬席琳狄翁（Celine Dion）

１９９２年初她在籌備第二張英語大碟〔Celine Dion〕也演繹此曲

製作人也是Humberto Gatica

可是最後並沒收到專輯裡

１９９４年後才在許多合輯中陸續面世

唱片公司希望〔Send Me A Lover〕能再造冠軍曲〔Love Will Lead You Back〕佳績

可惜最後只升到單曲＃５０（連一向支持她的成人抒情榜也只拿到＃１９）　

結束泰勒雖不長但風光的流行音樂事業

這也是她最後一首打入美國單曲榜的歌曲

ＭＶ中　戴恩一改〔Can’t Get Enough of Your Love〕中的火辣形象

再度以清純外表示人

〔Send Me A Lover〕兩個版本都聽過

個人覺得３１歲的泰勒版比席琳２４歲時詮釋的原版情感更豐沛　也更加感人
