She said, "I know.  That's because you have Not married me."

Many years ago I visited a famous Texas State Mental Hospital for research purpose.  During my visit I heard two very loud voices repeatedly screaming something like, "Linda! Linda!  I hate you!"  I noticed that the screaming was from two men in their early 30s who lived in two adjacent rooms. 

Out of curiosity, I asked the warden whether the two men were somehow related.  The warden replied, "Sure!  The poor man on the left wanted to marry an attractive young girl called Linda, but she married somebody else. That's why he ended up here.  And the poor man on the right is the one who married Linda."
