1.          Natto 納豆

l   Natto is a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans and is usually eaten with rice for breakfast.

2.          journalism

l   the work of collecting and writing news stories for newspapers, magazines, or television

3.          media        

l   television, radio, and newspapers

4.          shout        

l   talk in a very loud voice

5.          course      

l   a set of lessons at a school or university       

6.          exotic        

l   Something that is exotic is unusual and interesting, usually because it comes from or is related to a distant country.

7.          rude      

l  If someone is rude to you, their behaviour towards you is not polite.

²  I was rather rude to a young nurse.

8.          fantastic            

l   If you say that something is fantastic, you are emphasizing that you think it is very good or that you like it a lot. (INFORMAL)

²  I have a fantastic social life.

9.          major

l   At a university or college in the United States, if a student is, for example, a geology major, geology is the main subject they are studying.

²  She was named the outstanding undergraduate history major at the University of Oklahoma.

10.      homesick: unhappy when you are away from home

11.      lonely: unhappy because you are not with other people

12.      label: piece of paper on a product that tells you about it
