governess: a woman who teaches children in their home

guardian: a person who is legally responsible for another person such as a childe whose parents have died.

couple: two things of the same type

romance: a relationship between two people who are in love with each other but who are not married to each other.

Choosy:

Someone who is choosy is difficult to please because they will only accept something if it is exactly what they want or if it is of very high quality.

badge 圓形小徽章 (British; in America use button) : a piece of metal or cloth which you wear to show that you belong to an organization or support a cause. American English usually uses button to refer to a small round metal badge.     

Arrangements are plans and preparations which you make so that something will happen or be possible.        

conversation: a talk between tow or more people

participants: persons who take part in something

organizer: a person who makes sure that the necessary arrangements are made.       

unnatural: strange, queer

housekeeper: a person whose job is to cook, clean, and look after a house for its owner   

reply: answer

the latest craze: something that is very popular at the moment

first impressions: what you think about somebody when you first meet him

An even number is for example 2, 4, 6 or 8.—An odd number is 1, 3, 5.

make notes: write things on paper

make contact: see or speak to again

avoid: not to do something
