I took some PEOPLE to outlet shopping at the end of 2011 driving my husband's old car. They, at least some of them, must have felt uncomfortable sitting in that old car, worth less than the money the whole car load of them spent. On the way back one person said: "We might as well rent a car to shop again." Gee, I was very uneasy. There is no "thank you" but just thought they would be better off if they have a rental car again to shop.  Then why did they accept my invitation to shop using my old car. At that point, I said, "Well, my mom shopped with me at an outlet in California in 1992. She thought the goods were very good so she suggested that she would lead a team of friends to fly over from Taiwan to shop!!!"

You got my point, they have money now, but Taiwanese had the same money 20 years ago. Big deal, what they experienced, Taiwanese experienced 20 years ago!!!

Things will change. Who can tell if they will have $$$$ to shop in 2031? Maybe at that time they only have $. BUT EVEN IF THEY HAVE $$$$, how can they not show appreciation towards my service,  their friend who are from Taiwan. Money is not every thing. Some people have money with great characters like my mom, but some just don't.
