台灣隊投手黃保羅今天在U18世界盃棒球賽首戰投5局失1分，狂飆7次三振，加上邱鑫7局下再見安打，幫助球隊以2：1險勝義大利。

U18世界盃棒球賽在美國佛羅里達州舉行，尋求衛冕的台灣隊原訂首戰迎戰巴拿馬，但巴拿馬隊因簽證問題無法入境美國，比賽順延，台灣隊首戰對手換成義大利，但因當地下雨，球員們一度回到飯店等候；而旅美棒球好手張育成儘管近日遭到所屬坦帕灣光芒隊指定讓渡，但仍特地帶著珍珠奶茶到場，為台灣小將加油。

比賽延後逾6小時才開打，台灣隊今天前2局都有得點圈攻擊機會，但未能把握，第4局孫易磊二壘安打開啟球隊攻勢，隨後靠著隊友推進和義大利先發投手埃爾科拉尼（Alessandro Ercolani）暴投，跑回球隊第一分。

台灣隊U18世界盃棒球賽首戰由中職富邦悍將今年選秀會首輪指名投手黃保羅扛起先發重任，黃保羅也不負眾望，前3局都讓義大利打者3上3下，直到4局上2出局後才被敲出首支安打。

黃保羅6局上保送首名義大利打者後退場，由林鉑濬接手中繼，連續三振2名打者後仍被敲安丟分，讓義大利扳成1：1平手。

台灣隊7局下攻勢再起，黃劼希揮出二壘安打後，鄭俊瑋被故意四壞保送，邱鑫把握機會、擊出再見安打，幫助台灣隊以2：1收下首戰勝利。

黃保羅主投5局僅被敲出2支零星安打、掉1分，另有1次保送，全場飆出7次三振；林鉑濬中繼0.2局被敲1安，送出1次保送、2次三振；林盛恩後援1.1局無失分，摘下勝投。

U18世界盃棒球賽共12隊參賽，預賽分2組，採單循環賽，取分組前3名，晉級複賽，台灣隊與日本、墨西哥、澳洲、巴拿馬、義大利同組，台灣隊第2戰將在台灣時間9月11日11時與澳洲隊交手，將力拚連勝。
