今年第六號颱風「翠絲」生成，加上「桑達」颱風，海面上雙颱共舞。氣象局表示，翠絲未來持續往北移動，對台灣沒有直接影響。不過台灣受到低壓帶影響，天氣開始不穩定，有氣象粉專表示，「翠絲」南側的一大片雲系，可能會成為另一個低壓系統，也會逐漸靠近台灣，低壓挾帶大量水氣，雨勢不得不防。

「台灣颱風論壇｜天氣特急」粉專表示，低壓挾帶大量水氣，明起易下雨。熱帶低壓95Ｗ成為第6號颱風「翠絲」之後，會沿著副熱帶高壓邊緣往北進行，路徑跟桑達相似，對台灣無直接影響。不過「翠絲」南側還有一大片雲系，北上後，這坨雲系也會另成一個低壓系統。比較不同的是，副熱帶高壓在「翠絲」北上後，將西伸、增強，把這個低壓系統往台灣「推」過來，預計週二（8/2）將會引領整個低壓帶穿越台灣上空。
