42歲台語歌手葉勝欽今（11）日傳出患骨髓癌離世，享年42歲，消息一出震驚台語歌壇，然而直到病逝前都相當低調的他，不僅沒有告訴身邊的人，不少圈內好友也都是今日才得知噩耗，感到相當不捨。好友馬妞也透露，直到前年都還有聯繫，今年過年也有互傳訊息，沒想到人就這樣走了，還是透過共同好友告知才知道，悲嘆「真的好可惜，才40幾歲的人」。

事實上，葉勝欽一年前發現生病後就開始化療，不時進出醫院，最後幾乎聯絡不到他人，讓不少藝人好友十分擔心。對此《三立新聞網》也致電向好友馬妞確認，她表示，一直都有和葉勝欽聯繫，在展場遇到的時候都會談新的工作合作，但葉勝欽從前年開始體力不堪負荷，說要去健康檢查，到去年三月都還有聯繫要合作」坦言但根本不知道他病的這麼嚴重。

接著馬妞也透露，今年過年兩人還有互傳訊息，祝福對方新年快樂，本以為做化療的話，應該是在安寧病房的狀態，結果今天才透過共同朋友得知「葉勝欽走了， 上禮拜走的」，讓她相當錯愕，心情備受影響。馬妞嘆：「真的好可惜，40幾歲，本來想說如果他結婚，都可以當他家長的說」心情十分沈重。
