Most of the female images of the ladies shown on the photos pertaining to the era of Nationalist China were almost always like this: shrinking chests, bending waists, and dressing in loose garment. I guess in that comparatively conservative time, women tended not to expose their female characteristics in public. But nowadays they do not have to slouch like that any more, particularly for a woman representing her unit, company, or even her "nation" like that Wonky Cai. Regretfully whenever Cai has a meeting with foreign visitors, especially from the US and Japan, she always give us an image of an old-time "daughter-in-law". Why hasnt any person told her not to present herself that way? Ms Cai, take Park Geun-hye, that former president of South Korea, as an example of salutary warning (Well, she slouches all the time.), but take Ms Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, incumbent Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR, as your model to copy.
