Not long ago carrier Liaoning taking a drill nearing Taiwan became a red herring for the scandal of mass congestion of coronavirus within navy.  Now China Mainland has had second carrier Shandong, and I guess there will be the thire one and the fourth one within five years.  By the time, with the help of Dongfeng Delivery, she would be fully capable of protecting Taiwan and keep America and Japan at bay.
