| Winter Days Hsu ChiCheng
The cold rain is raising up sharp swords Under the drum banging of cold wind Rampant and running amuck Grasses and trees are in shreds and tatters Recoiling and shivering corner after corner On the road wayfarers are few Even walls and stones Have thinned a lot On the frowning and groaning While plum blossoms are seen courageously Standing on branch tops, exhibiting beauty The Christmas tree is burning with red fire for warmth They encourage myriads of things in unison: Don’t be afraid! After winter It is spring!
