發行已超過 100 年的 米其林指南，從今年 4 月起將正式發行「米其林台灣綠色指南」（英文版）。米其林指南分為綠色及紅色兩種，前者是專門推薦旅遊景點，後者則是美食餐廳的推薦，而本次新發行之台灣綠色，裡頭推薦有 38 處三星級景點、 142 處二星級景點、 138 處一星級景點。
根據米其林網站的介紹，對這本指南說明如下：

米其林的評等標準共有 9 項，包含：

4. 獲得的榮譽和其他官方認可
