你從歷史的深處走來

渾身上下，充满著文明古國的氣息

你出身於泥土，在烈火中永生

卻沒有絲毫的凡人俗氣

你集三千寵愛於一身

卻是一位與濃妝艷抹是冤家的奇女子

我也終將要歸於泥土

我願像你一樣

讓工匠將我塑成一件青花瓷

把身影留給大地

把愛留給人間

《Ode to Blue-and-White Porcelain》

You came forth from the abyss of History，

Round the entire being, rich in cultural spell of an ancient land.

You originated in clay, lived eternity in blazing flames,

Yet void of a stitch of mundane vulgarity.

You rounded up thousands of blessing in one piece,

A marvy maiden but contrary to voluptuous adornments.

I would also eventually return to clay.

I am willing to go your way,

To let the craftsman mold me into a blue-and-white porcelain,

Leaving the image for the Good Earth,

Leaving the love for mortal world.
