What is teaching philosophy? I think it is a part of philosophy which is used in teaching methods. We all know that teaching is complex but essential process to human being. How can we know which teaching method is suitable for us? How can we know which teaching method is suitable for students? In this way, we have to find it out and realize what we can use.

In my opinion, students would be molded by teachers and teachers would be molded by society due to the fact that teachers have to know improvement of society and then guide students to walk to the society. No matter how reality the society is, teachers have tried to let students realize why they are here in school. More importantly, teachers not only teach normal knowledge but also changing part of society owing to the fact that we have to let students know self-awareness and let them find their own value and position. I think teachers can use inquiry skill to guide students to think. Students would choose which is useful for them. Teachers have to try some methods to get them. Recitation is important element for learning but education is not only teaching knowledge but also discussion. Some kinds of social problems and issues couldn’t be taught but can be discuss. Teachers could use inquiry skill to guide students think about problems and issues.

I know that Experimentalist emphasizes correlation of human and environment. John Dewey think education is a process which recombines and rebuilds experience. Then we can gain meaningful experience. More importantly, he is advocate of education’s randomness and against enhances learner’s aim externally.

I know that Existentialist emphasizes students’ subject, affirming students’ ability of option, asking students responsible to them, encouraging them pursue their meaningful of existent. Existentialist think human being is the most important point. Everyone appreciate from experience to realize their selves.

According to scoring the item on the Philosophy Preference Assessment I think I blend with Experimentalism and Existentialist of teaching philosophy.
