Copycat effect:

Copycat effect refers two meanings. One is copycat crime, and the other is copycat suicide. It’s a term which made by media because media can convey information and events very fast. Most importantly, media always describe the details of suicide and evil things which someone does that before. This kind of phenomena becomes teaching people how to do the thing which they never thought. And this phenomenon would recycle. School shooting is a good example. Someone who has gun legally but that person shots schoolmates and then media convey this thing. The media just want to let people know this sorrowful thing; however, it becomes a teaching event due to the fact that the media describes too many details.
