【註】孔子在他修訂的詩經、尚書、易經裡，不斷提到上帝，他要人們事上帝，如《易經》說：「聖人亨，以享上帝」；《詩經》說：「皇矣上帝，臨下有赫；監觀四方，求民之莫。维此文王，小心翼翼，昭事上帝....」；《尚書》說：「夏氏有罪，予畏上帝，不敢不正」。在《中庸十九》還特別提到孔子的一番話：「郊社之禮，所以事上帝也；宗廟之禮，所以祀乎其先也。明乎郊社之禮、禘嘗之義，治國其如示諸掌乎。」大意是說，郊社之禮乃是敬拜上帝之禮，宗廟之禮乃是追思祖先之禮；一個懂得敬拜上帝、又知道如何追思祖先的人，治理國家就好像讀自己的手掌一樣容易！ ===================== Psalm of Chinas Civilization ===================== God created all things and decreed Placed China in Far East With mountains and rivers stretching thousands of miles With spacious territories and enriched lands, civilization turned on Youchao and Suiren anointed by Heaven Fuxi and Shennong came out with great achievements Huangdi and Leizu built up the nation Then all the states were unified by Yao, Shun, Yu, and Tang The morality enlightened by Laozi prevailed to the end of earth With loyalty and forgiveness in his heart, Kongzi served God Modis universe love was full of words of wisdom Mengkes preach with righteousness was the theme As the world is with uncertain crises Selfishness occupies humans hearts Chinas civilization becomes the light Its radiance to light up the world is the providence ================ JS Lieh
