比吉斯合唱團( bee gees )
出生在愛爾蘭海的曼島，比吉斯兄弟從小便受音樂的薰陶，父親hugh是樂團的團長，母親barbara則是位歌手。9歲那時barry已經開始歌唱並彈奏父親送給他的吉他，幫他伴奏的是兩個6歲的雙胞胎兄弟robin與maurice。robin與barry那獨一無二的嗓音成為日後樂團的著名標籤，maurice則是在吉他、貝斯及鍵盤等樂器上鑽研。在十幾歲時，他們隨著父母搬至澳洲，以rattlesnakes為團名在布里斯本的賽馬場表演。1966年的spicks & specks為他們在澳洲得到首張冠軍單曲，1967年三人以比吉斯為團名正式重返英倫出道。

Air Supply 空中補給
有無數的藝人團體都企圖創造出完美的“流行”音樂，成功是有一些，但卻只有少數的人能真正地掌握住流行的精髓進而操縱流行，而空中補給合唱團就是這樣一個團體，他們不斷地創造出絕美而出色的流行歌曲，並因此而在他們長達23年的音樂旅程中一再地改寫排行榜歷史！事實上，這我們還得感謝安德魯洛依韋伯以及提姆萊斯，因為若不是因為他們所創造的音樂劇《萬世巨星》，空中補給合唱團也許就永遠不會成立。但很幸運的就是因為這齣劇，讓空中補給合唱團這兩位核心團員--葛拉漢羅素Graham Russell以及羅素希區考克Russell Hitchcock，皆成為了該劇的澳洲演員陣容班底，在1975年相遇進而成為親密的好友，而這份友誼亦一直維持至今且歷久彌堅。

老鷹合唱團( eagles )
老鷹合唱團的傳奇開始於1972年，原始成員glenn frey（吉他）和don henley（鼓手）邀集主吉他手bernie leadon與貝斯手randy meisner原是琳達．朗絲黛的伴奏樂手，與英國製作人glyn johns合作推出首張同名專輯「eagles」；雖然造就三首單曲take it easy、witchy woman、peaceful easy feeling，但他們並未一炮而紅。第二張專輯「desperado」加入新吉他手don felder，儘管概念性極強，標題曲desperado和tequila sunrise都是人人哼唱的慢板佳作，不過當年在商業成績上卻也未見突破。慢工出細活完成的第三張專輯「on the border」發行於1974年，這張專輯在錄製期間製作人由原本glyn johns更換為bill szymczyk（此後未曾再更換過製作人），曲風走向搖滾化，第三首單曲best of my love終於為老鷹合唱團拿下第一首冠軍單曲。接下來1975年的第四張專輯「one of these nights」更趁剩追擊，不僅專輯是張冠軍金唱片，其中三首單曲one of these nights、lying eyes、take it to the limit也都成績斐然。至此老鷹合唱團的名聲才總算響徹雲霄，不過後來幾年間，團員組成也來個大搬風，leadon離團由原james gang 的吉他手joe walsh 取代，randy meisner 也在1977求去，timothy b. schmit隨即加入樂團。
