I just found out that I don't have enough brain cell function yet to come
up with any meaningful writting.
Just quote some wisdom words:
"Life is an unfair game, just like baseball. Your best pitch in your life
might meet the best swing from that very batter, who might be juiced!
You are still talking about fair, unfair?" - Flash
"I have no idea why Art Howe is bringing in Jeff Tam, while Ricardo
(Rincorn) is throwing fires. Art really believes that a mediocre right
hander is better than a great left handed pitcher against the great Mike
Sweeney? Conventional wisdom is going to cost Art his job. Billy
Beane must be kicking his chair now."
- Bronco, while we were in Oakland Coliseum watching the game when
Oakland A's was playing for their record 20th straight victory. Two out,
two runners on. Tam was a recent minor league called-up. Sweeney hit
a three runs homer, made it a 11-10 game. Royals tied the game
11-11 in top of the 9th inning while the coaches was messing with
the release pitchers. Even A's eventually won that 20th game, with
a home run, but Art Howe's days with A's would have been
numbered after that game.
"It is so funny, that baseball is all about strategy. And you only try to
figure out the strategy when you are behind. So, the odd is actually
in favor of the losing team." - Gemini
