your story reminded me of those first 2 years when i moved to michigan. i did not drive and sat at home for solid 6 months....
stay at home for 6 months?? you would not get crazy? but now, you are working and enjoying your social life, you would be much happier than before, aren't you? It seems the way we are as a foreigner. just cheer for ourselves!

Maybe take a short break and travel around if you can. It's worth to visit the Louvre, there are lots of tresors from over the world.
