The Law of Precession(reprinted)
The Law of Precession is one of the subsidiary laws to the one great law "energy is", it says that when a body in motion towards another body (because of gravity or because it is simply attracted to it), then always - at a 90° right angle to that line of attraction – there is an equal if not a greater result that is being generated.
I call it The Law of Precession or The Law of Side Effects.
Let me repeat that in a slightly different way:
If an object is attracted to a second object and is moving towards it, another result will occur at a right angle. That result will be equal to or greater than the original attraction.
Would you like an example?
Take the Sun – a heavenly body in motion, then take another heavenly body in motion – the Earth.
You would agree that the Earth is attracted to the Sun, in fact there is a gravitational force there, the Earth is attracted so much to the Sun, that it wants to fall toward it.
At a 90° right angle to this line of attraction, the law creates a side effect – it is called the Earth´s orbit. This is a very beneficial side effect, so beneficial that it keeps all of us from becoming toasted.
Another example is a bee (a body in motion) and a flower (another body in motion). The bee is attracted to the flower, the bee loves to move towards the flower because the flower contains the essential nectar that bees require to make honey.
Now at a 90° right angle to this attraction is the side effect of cross-pollination. The flowers pollen stick to the bee´s body and legs, and as the bee flies from one flower to the next, the bee provides our planet with the beneficial side effect of pollinating and fertilizing the flowers, enabling the plants to procreate their species.
Where would the plant kingdom be without the law of precession?
How does this law affect you and me?
What are you attracted to?
Think about this for a moment, if a person (a body in motion) is attracted to money (another body in motion), what side effect does this create most of the time?
Greed?
Not to mention all the other problems it tends to create as well in other areas of that persons live – like health, family, relationships and so on.
We must be wise enough to know what money is and what it is not, and money is nothing more than a tool that allows us to express ourselves and function freely within out World. Money alone is nothing, it is what we do with it that gives it value or not.
Contrary to popular belief, success does not lie in the destination of achieving a certain amount of money. Success lies in the journey – the day to day pleasure and joy of what we do in pursuit of money.
When money becomes the cause of what we do, we can easily compromise who we are and what we want to be.
When money becomes the effect of what we love to do, then we are being true to ourselves.
We do this by focusing our attention on adding value to everyone and everything we touch along the way. |
