Review 1 :What is the difference between Obdstar x300 dp full and Obdstar x300 Dp Plus?

I have Obdstar x300 dp full (Yellow model) and it is working well, only with newer models needs to connect to internet, example: odometer correction to 2015- Ford F150, I just renew the yearly subscription (us$200) and keeps updating almost daily.

OBDSTAR X300 Pro4 have full car list for immo function same as DP Plus.

I don’t know if the x300 Dp Plus is substantially better than first model, the difference in price is high.

The new x300 dp plus comes with new functions like “ecu programming” and “ecu clone” (I can’t find information on what models can make with those functions), now have a new RFID adapter (P001) and they discontinued the support for the old RFID adapter, no updates.
1.For diagnostics it’s very limited, almost no special functions,.
2.For key programming and pin code retrieval is good, not all brands and models but can make many models without issues.
3.For odometer calibration is good, better than EZ500 (I have this tool too).
In my own experience the money invested was worth it.
Review 2:It seems like they periodically updating the soft wear
The tool itself works , boots up and operate. However the following are what I consider deficient especially since I am in the car repair Buisness .
1- The instruction manual is nort very clear , for instance it does not clarify which charger unit is “specifically for the scanner” and which is not.
I had To go on line in order to figure out what the instruction manual is telling me to do when setting the unit up.2- The soft wear for any of its capabilities is not necessarily available right away, it seems like they periodically updating the soft wear. Please not also that the odometer programming is not available for all vehicles such as Toyota, BMW, to name few.In all I would say the price is too much for a scanner that does not give you clear and precise guidance as to how to manipulate its capabilities
And one that is still lacking necessary soft wear for cars that I work on all the time.

Review 3: Full VS Standard is the difference between key programmer with or without diagnostic function.

I purchased this product after researching for months. The ease of use, the support that comes from other compatible models and accessories that come with it are very simple to configure.

My main complaint is that it doesn’t come with a key renew adapter which I find more useful than all of the older adapters they include including the eprom adapter.

It also does have any diagnostic compatibility for any domestic cars other than dodge and ford.
Very irritating when I tried to use it to diagnose an abs issue the first day I had it
