| People often say that honesty is the best policy. However, is it true? Truth is sometimes cruel. If telling the truth would possibly hurt one's heart. Is it still the best policy? For example, if one day a friend of yours asks you what do you feel about her dressing. You think his/her clothes make him/her looks older and out of energy, but you know he/she had been saving money for a long time in order to buy a new suit. Will you tell him/her what you truly feel? Or will you merely say something against your mind but you know he/she likes to hear such as ''You look so pretty in that new shirt.'' Is honesty the best policy? What's your viewpoint? |
