An Affair to Remember

這首《金玉盟》（An Affair to Remember）
是1957年同名電影的主題曲，
由卡萊葛倫和黛博拉蔻兒主演的《金玉盟》
被許多人當作是愛情的經典巨片。
片中兩人在浪漫的郵輪上墜入情網，
為了證明他們的羅曼史不是萍水相逢，
他們決定六個月後
在帝國大廈的頂樓重逢……

賣個關子，故事講到此為止，
這部電影發行以後極為轟動，
當然有賺人眼淚的情節，
加上俊男美女當男女主角，
實力原本豐厚，但是無可否認的，
這首主題曲也為電影加分不少。

歌曲由 Harry Warren 作曲、
Leo McCarey 和 Harold Adamson 作詞，
在片頭的主唱是 Vic Damone，
片中黛博拉蔻兒唱此曲的時候，
則由 Marni Nixon幕後代唱。

後來的愛情喜劇《西雅圖夜未眠》
（Sleepless in Seattle）也用了此曲，
並提到此劇情。
