The Beatles的 Hey Jude

今年八月是披頭四的這首名歌
“Hey Jude”發行五十周年的紀念月。
這首在哪個排行榜裡都名列前茅、
廣受喜愛的歌曲是Paul McCartney 所寫，
因為John Lennon在那一年和太太離婚，
Paul McCartney為了安慰Lennon的兒子 Julian
就寫了這首鼓勵安慰的歌。
在美國，是蘋果唱片為披頭發行的第一張單張，
在流行歌曲排行榜上高居王座達九個星期之久。

這首歌由管弦樂團伴奏，
收尾的部分長達四分鐘之久。
在當時都是首創。
1969年被提名三項葛蘭美，但是都未得獎。
2004年的滾石雜誌選這首歌是史上500支名曲中的第八名，
（第一名是 Bobby Dylan 的“Like a Rolling Stone”）。
