Dozens of wildfires in parts of the western U.S. have fire fighters working overtime to bring the blazes under control. In Chelan, Washington homes have been reduced to ash. Members of the Washington National Guard were called in to help relieve exhausted fire fighters. (SOUNDBITE) (English) NATIONAL GUARD TEAM LEADER KURT STITCH SAYING: "I'm not looking for an end in sight//we could see September, October being just as active as fire behavior now if we don't see significant rainfall." More than 29,000 civilian fire personnel have already been deployed throughout the West, most of them on front-line ground crews. There are about 95 fires burning in seven states- the bulk of them in Washington, Oregon, Montana and California, fire agency officials said. Little if any containment had been achieved on many of those fires on Monday, the agency reported.
