１９７０年代中期, 為躲避英倫小報追逐, 她選擇長居美國

這時達絲蒂與美國聯藝音樂（United Artist Music）簽約, 英國發行權交給Mercury唱片

１９７８年２月, 達絲蒂推出第十張大碟［It Begins Again／再度開始］，獲得多項正面評價。

但只取得英國專輯榜＃４１──這是她八年來首張入榜大碟.

 

 

１９７９年１月（美國）／３月（英國），３９歲半的 達絲蒂推出第１１張大碟［Living Without Your Love／沒有你愛情的生活］，在洛杉磯錄製.

由David Wolfert製作，曲風走 流行與迪斯可。評價良好。

 

第二主打是標題曲［Living Without Your Love］．

由Steve Nelson, David Wolfert創作，David Wolfert製作成一首流行靈魂／迪斯可，

主場以抒情開場，副歌進入迪斯可節拍．

可是大眾接受度低，此曲未打入排行榜，
