Appreciation for Sending US. Airforce to Help Rescuing the Taiwanese People and Some Plea

Dear Mr. President,

The Taiwanese people are very touched to learn that you have sent aircrafts and helicopters to Taiwan for rescuing our fellow brothers and sisters in the isolated spots damaged by Typhoon Morakot. It is really notorious that our government hesitated to ask help from you and accordingly caused heavier toll. It is our concern that you may understand that the Taiwanese people do need and appreciate your help.

In contrast to the indifference of the KMT regime, the Taiwanese have strived to save as much lives by their own as possible. Thousands of volunteers entered the damaged villages to help brining out victims, or refuges to help giving the victims food and cares. However, civilians without proper training and equipments can do very little for saving lives. We cannot help stop the toll from growing heavier and heavier.

We plea that you may consider to allow your experts to stay in the damaged villages as long as possible. Only with your help, the Taiwanese can have some hope.

Thank you for being a "Good Samaritan"! May the Lord compensate you, "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in.　Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me." (Matthew 25: 35-36)

Dear Sir,

Since Typhoon Morakot attacked Taiwan on August 7 until now, there are more than 500 people dead and still thousands more people missing.

Taiwan’s people distrust in Ma Ying Jeou’s leadership is growing fast and worry that his hand in glove with China could betray the sovereignty of Taiwan. Ma Ying Jeou and his government inclines towards China and declined the aid from international society in the past days.

Obviously Ma Ying Jeou is incompetent at his job and consequently brings more and more southern Taiwan people towards death and panic.

Taiwan people need USA government’s help urgently and an investigation into the collusion between Ma Ying Jeou’s government and China.
