Meg--lesson

     When Sarah was young, she loved to play Chinese jumprope. (1) A group of neihborhood friends used to gather on the sidewalk in front of her house to play.(2) After they had a group of at least six,(3) they would draw straws to see who held up the large elastic band on their ankles.(4) The remaining girls drew straws again to figure out jumping order(4)while the rope holders were getting ready.(5) Sarah and her friends would play until someone successfully did the entire sequence of jumps or one of their mothers called someone home for supper.
