DONALD TRUMP’S pre-inauguration fireworks caused a stir after they allegedly spelled out ‘USR’ rather than ‘USA’ as they were meant to.

That’s how the Americans have decoded the acronym USR that appeared during fireworks.

Twitter users were quick to joke at the firework display which took place on Thursday night in the US capital.Many users commented suggesting the fireworks had “hacked” by the Russians, a reference to the ongoing scandal involving allegations of Moscow interfering in the US election.In his final night before Mr Trump became President, the firework display included three massive letters being blasted up into the sky.The message was supposed to spell “USA” however it was almost immediately pointed out it looked closer to ‘USR’.

Some joked the country had become the “United States of Russia” as Mr Trump prepares to take control.
