Greater Glasgow & The Clyde Valley offers the best of both worlds - amazing culture and entertainment alongside fresh air and stunning landscapes.

South east of the city, you can explore the Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve and take a riverside walk past waterfalls and look out for otters and over 100 species of bird. This beautiful area is also part of the Clyde Valley Tourist Route, a 42-mile scenic route which takes in several historical attractions.

Nearby, Strathclyde Country Park offers 400 acres of woods and parkland around Strathclyde Loch, where you’ll find fabulous outdoor activities. Try cycling or water skiing, or tackle one of the five white knuckle rollercoasters and family-friendly rides in M&D’s theme park, based in the park.

Scotland’s newest country park, Dams to Darnley, covers over 1,350 acres south west of the city, including the striking Barrhead Dams, a series of interconnected reservoirs.

North of Glasgow, in Milngavie, you’ll find the beginning of the West Highland Way, a 95-mile long distance path which will take you to Fort William.

Just north of the region, around 30 minutes from the city, you’ll find Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, where you’ll find a number of activities including canoeing, windsurfing and golf in one of Scotland’s most beautiful areas.

夏末與初秋的季節來訪與旅遊是最佳的時機
